Festival Bar Sneak Peek

We’re readying the new space for this year’s Festival Bar, the place where you’ll be able to rub elbows with the stars of Live Arts and Fringe shows and digest all the great art you’ll see. This year the bar will be even better than you remember (or don’t remember), because it’s gonna be at the former Club Egypt on Delaware Ave which has a huge dance floor, and lots of memories of your times spent cruising the avenue.

We’re gonna fill it with awesome visual art with the help of POST (Philadelphia Open Studio Tours). Something cool will be going on every night like live music, performances, film screenings—and you, busting a move. Here’s a look behind the gold-sequined curtains of the future Festival Bar:

  • Welcome to the Festival Blog!

The Philadelphia Live Arts Festival is a curated festival of the world’s most cutting-edge, high-quality performing arts groups. The Philly Fringe is an unfiltered festival, where a platform is provided for new and established artists to present their work free of a selection process. The Festival Blog is your most comprehensive source for news on both in the months leading up to the festivals.
